Fridgeless!

On Saturday I was getting ready for work and Michael came in and told me he could smell something burning. We searched the house high and low checking to make sure nothing was on fire. We had all the windows open so we figured it was maybe coming from outside. 30 minutes later we were still smelling it. My roommate called the power company and they told her to call the fire department. Five minutes later four fire trucks arrived at the house. The motor on the fridge was running at 150 and it normally runs at 100. Lucky for us it was only the fridge burning. It smelled like something electrical was on fire. The bad...we have been without of fridge since Saturday and aren't getting one until tomorrow. We tried to save our food by putting dry ice in in there to keep it cool but last night we threw everything out.

Pumpkin Time!

We carved pumpkins last night. Michael said it was his first time carving pumpkins. I was a little upset that we couldn't find a pumpkin patch here in Las Vegas. We searched high and low and ended up at the grocery store. I love to carve pumpkins, but i HATE cleaning out the insides. I don't like the icky stuff getting on my arms. I left that duty to Michael and the carving to me. We had a good time. Now lets hope the pumpkins aren't destroyed by the gangsters next door.

HELP!

Does anyone know where to find a cute template for your blog? I found this lady that made templates but she had to erase all of them because of copyright issues. I would like our blog to be pretty again!

We are back in Las Vegas. I was successful with all of the wedding plans. The only thing left I have to do is decided on the florist for the flowers. Michael had fun hunting. They ended up getting snowed on, unfortunately he came home empty handed. I wasn't looking forward to having a freezer full of elk, but I wanted him to fill his tag. There's always next year right!

Home Sweet Home

I finally figured out how to change the background for our blog so I thought it was time for our first post. We are in Idaho for the week. I'm busy with my Mom and sister finishing up the wedding plans and Michael is elk hunting with his Dad and brother. He told me he is going to be a provider now, so he thought hunting fit into that category. I told him he better not come home empty handed! We are getting more excited each day...only 103 days left! This is a picture of us at Lake Las Vegas right after we got engaged. It was such a perfect day!
